Terms of Service

The rules for using Bendaharaku: what it is, what you and we are responsible for, plans and payments, and the law that applies.

Last updated 6 November 2026

The short version

  • A budgeting tool: not a bank, and not financial advice.
  • Your data stays yours. Download or delete it anytime.
  • Use it fairly and keep your account secure.
  • Free for now. Payments aren't open yet.
  • Indonesian law applies, and the Indonesian version prevails.

This agreement

These terms are an agreement between you and Elian Richard ("we", "us"), who runs Bendaharaku. You accept them and our Privacy Policy by ticking the box that says so when you create your account, and by using Bendaharaku.

You must be 18 or older, or use Bendaharaku with the consent of a parent or guardian.

What Bendaharaku is, and isn't

Bendaharaku helps you plan and track your own money: split your income into needs, wants and financial freedom, record what you spend and earn, and see where you stand.

  • It isn't a bank, a payment service or an investment product. It never holds or moves your money.
  • It doesn't connect to your bank. Balances are what you record.
  • It isn't financial, tax or legal advice. Totals, paces and forecasts are estimates from what you enter; check anything important yourself.
  • AI receipt scanning can misread a receipt. Check the filled-in form before you save.

Your account

You sign in with Google. Keep your Google account secure: anyone who can use it can use your Bendaharaku account.

You're responsible for what happens through the access you create: AI-assistant tokens and the Telegram connection. A token with read and write access lets that assistant add, change and delete your data. Revoke tokens and disconnect Telegram in Settings when you no longer use them.

Your data is also locked with a password you choose and a recovery code shown to you when you make it. Keep both safe and private. We never see them and can't reset or recover them: if you lose both, nobody can open your data, us included, and the only way on is to start over with an empty account.

One account per person. Don't share it.

Your data

Your data is yours. You give us permission to store, process and show it only to run Bendaharaku for you, as the Privacy Policy describes.

Your data is locked with your password, as the Privacy Policy describes. You can download or delete it at any time. Keep your own backups too: download one from Settings now and then, and keep the file safe, since it isn't locked with your password.

If you record information about other people, such as who you lent money to, make sure you're allowed to, and keep it to what you need.

Fair use

Please don't:

  • use Bendaharaku for anything illegal, including fraud or money laundering;
  • try to reach other people's data, break or test our security without permission, or get around rate limits;
  • overload the service, scrape it, or use automated access other than the tokens and bot we provide;
  • upload malware, or files that aren't receipts;
  • resell Bendaharaku or offer it to others as your own service.

We may limit, suspend or close an account that breaks these rules, and we'll tell you why unless the law prevents it.

Services you connect

Some features rely on other services: Google for sign-in, Telegram for the bot, and AI assistants you connect yourself (such as Claude, Cursor or VS Code). Their own terms and privacy policies apply to how they handle your data. What an AI assistant does with your data after reading it is between you and that assistant's provider.

Plans and payments

Bendaharaku has a free plan. We plan to offer a paid plan, Pro, with extras such as receipt scanning, year insights, the Telegram bot and AI assistants. Payments aren't open yet, and until they are, every feature that exists is available to you.

When payments open:

  • prices, what's included and the billing period are shown before you pay;
  • subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel, and you can cancel anytime; Pro stays active until the end of the period you paid for;
  • we tell you at least 30 days before a price change applies to you;
  • any free trial says how long it lasts and what happens when it ends;
  • refunds follow the rules shown at checkout and Indonesian consumer protection law.

Availability and changes

We work to keep Bendaharaku running and your data safe, but it's provided "as is" and "as available": there may be downtime, bugs or lost data, and features may change.

We may change or remove features. If we remove one you rely on, or close Bendaharaku, we'll tell you at least 30 days ahead so you can download your data.

Ending

You can stop anytime: delete your account in Settings. We may suspend or close your account if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, or if the law requires it.

Liability

As far as Indonesian law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for decisions you make based on what Bendaharaku shows. Our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (nothing, while you're on the free plan). Nothing here limits liability that the law doesn't allow to be limited, or your rights as a consumer.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We'll change the date at the top and, for changes that matter, tell you in the app or by email before they take effect. If you keep using Bendaharaku after that, the new terms apply; if you don't agree, you can delete your account.

Law, disputes and language

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia.

If something goes wrong, contact us first and we'll try to resolve it within 30 days. If we can't, either of us may take the dispute to the competent court in Indonesia, or to a consumer dispute settlement body (BPSK) where that applies.

These terms are written in Indonesian and English. If the two differ, the Indonesian version prevails.
